Ascertain the customer’s needs and answer any questions in a professional and courteous manner.  Provide information about the facility.  Provide support and emotional comfort to families experiencing crisis.  Assist patients and/or visitors by directing or escorting them to their correct destination.  Control patient and/or visitor passage into the Emergency Department.  Act as a customer service liaison between Security, Registration, nursing staff, family, and visitors.
